LESSONS LEARNED

After the tragedy that happened to mahsuri, the villagers regretted for what they have done. The white blood that flew from Mahsuri’s body shows her innocence. The mistake that the villagers committed bring the bad effects towards Mahsuri and the entire island. Due to the curse that Mahsuri did, Langkawi Island became “padang jarak, padang terkukur” or “wasteland”. People that live in Langkawi was suffered for seven generations due to the tragedy. Based on the Legend of Mahsuri, the lessons that I got are, it is compulsory to do the proper investigation before spread the rumor and sentencing and the jealousy must be removed from our heart because its will bring the bad effects in return.
