Mahsuri was married to Mat Deris who is a warrior. Due to
the war, Mat Deris should leave Mahsuri alone and go to war. During Wan Darus
absence, the story teller came to the village and befriended with Mahsuri. This
is an opportunity to Mahura who is Mahsuri’s mother-in-law to accuse. Mahsuri
was accused of committing adultery. This rumor had spread as fast as lightning
to the villagers. Due to what had happened, as the penalty Mahsuri was being
sentenced to death without any trial by Datuk Karma Jaya. Mahsuri tried to
denied but it is unnacceptabled.
